Delayed Passport delievery issue has been resolved: |
|
The issuance of Passports by the Department of Immigration & Passports was delayed due to technical problems which resulted in inconvenience to Passport seekers in getting Passports on due dates.
The technical problem has since been resolved, backlog cleared and Passports are dispatched to the concerned Passport Offices. Now, the normal schedule of delivery of Passports i.e. on 12th working day and on 5th working day against ordinary and urgent fee respectively, is being observed. General public is hereby informed that they can collect their Passports from the respective offices.

Regional Passport Offices being installed in Skardu & Turbat: |

Directorate General of Immigration and Passports as installed the Regional Passport Offices (RPO) in Skardu and Turbat. Skardu RPO has commenced its services.

Inaugurating RPO Multan, New Process Flow: |
|
Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has commenced new Process Flow in Regional Passport Office Multan, which has been recently shifted to the new location. Now the Photocapturing process will be performed on Token Issuance counter, & the applicant will have issued the new token slips having printed their photgraphs.

Machine Readable Visa: |

Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has launched the pilot project of issueing Machine Readable Visa (MRV), at its headquarter's; based in islamabad.

Directorate General of Immigration & Passports is in the process of launching new Regional Passport Offices in Jhang, Chakwal and Khuzdar.

More Branches of National Bank for Passport Fee Submission: |
|
Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has authorized more branches of National Bank for collecting the Passport Fee for the public convenience.

Automated Border Control: |

Directorate General of Immigration and Passports is working with FIA and NADRA to provide Automated Border Control System at all entry/exit points of the country.
